Immerse yourself in ancient arabesque design in this hilltop villa. Designed to be a modern reproduction of the Great Mosque of Zabid in Yemen, Fata Morgana seamlessly blends traditional Berber aesthetics with contemporary design delights and features to create the ultimate hillside retreat.
Sitting high on the mountains above the San Lorenzo Valley, Fata Morgana has a sense of seclusion and privacy yet is only a short 5-minute drive from the tiny peaceful village of San Lorenzo where you will find one of the best restaurants on the island, La Paloma. It is also a 25-minute drive to Ibiza town and the closest beaches are Benirass and Aguas Blancas in the Bohemian north.
Each room has been passionately decorated in homage to its Yemenite style, with fluid arches softening the ceilings and doorways while pieces sourced from vintage markets sit harmoniously against rooms rich with splashes of natures pallete, reminiscent of the desserts, the sky and the sea.
The main part of the villa forms a cross with the focal point being the central courtyard. The courtyard along with the 12m x 5m pool form the fulcrum for the rest of the house, with all 6 double bedrooms rooms and areas leading from it.
