Enveloped in nature with views stretching out to the ocean and no neighbours, tranquility surrounds you. Laze around on oversized daybeds or seek refuge from the sun in the Bali house, all while mindfully watching over your little ones as they climb aboard the boathouse or amuse themselves in the play area.
Everything is set up to be as social or private as you decide, with the living, dining and kitchen areas all opening up onto the garden and the pool.

The guest cabin to the side of the property is a surprise addition to Can Rio, the same elegant, eclectic décor features throughout the fully furnished kitchen, en-suite and living room.

If you can bear to move from your haven of fun, then set your compass to any direction, Can Rio is conveniently located in the middle of the island in San Lorenzo, making it easily accessible to the beaches of the south, east and bohemian north.

INSIDE

LIVING & KITCHEN

The open plan structure of the living, dining and kitchen areas fuses functionality with fun, while each area is cleverly designed to feel simultaneously private and social as and when. Light and airy, the neutral décor is accented throughout with pops of colour provided by the artwork hung in most of the rooms. The kitchen is a joy to prepare food in with a high-spec kitchen fitted to a highly professional standard.

Sink into one of the sumptuous velvet sofas and gather round the 42” plasma TV for movie nights. Fill the villa with your favourite playlist; the fully integrated sound system will ensure those still splashing around in the pool outside can share the pleasure.

The dining areas is surrounded with light reflecting floor to ceiling glass doors, bringing the outside in while you feast at the large solid teak table, flanked by French Louis XV-style chairs. Prefer to hang, then do so in the Eero Aarnio bubble chair.

A spacious snug provides a safe hideaway for the children and is kept topped up with kids books, toys and movies.

A laundry room provides the facilities needed to keep on top of your family’s outfit changes.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

Bedroom one: Step into the Master suite and indulge in your own private suite experience, a spacious walk in shower and free standing double ended iron bath give you the options to shower or soak whilst taking in the panoramic view of the land and the ocean beyond. Lie back and enjoy a movie on your 32-inch plasma screen or press play on your sound system.

Bedroom two (twin): Off the Master bedroom is a twin children’s bedroom featuring a fantastical wall illustration reminiscent of the Pirates of the Caribbean. This room also has a private terrace. Please note there is no AC in this room.

Bedrooms three – six: A sophisticated palette of creamy golden whites, barely there beiges and soft dove greys are used throughout the bedrooms.

Each rooms has a slightly different style and each en suite bathroom is finished to the same high standard with high quality Egyptian cotton towels.

All bedrooms have their own private terrace for guests to gaze over the countryside.

Guest Cabin: Cozy up in this seriously stylish cabin that can happily accommodate two adults and an older child on the superior quality sofa bed. Built with exceptional craftsmanship, this is romantic cabin living without the sacrifices of living in the wilderness. Finished to the same high quality spec as the main villa, the cabin offers en suite bathroom and a modern kitchen with breakfast bar.

OUTSIDE

Set within 2 acres of land, the views spread into the horizon and towards the sea. With no neigbours, the Santa Eularia church in the distance is reminder that whilst you feel the deep sense of solitude, you are not far from a vibey town for all your evenings entertainments. Choose from large day beds, swing chairs, sun loungers and chill out areas to relax in. Al fresco dining couldn’t be easier here, with a large sunken area and an oversized table to pick from. For a real sense of campo life, pick your own fruits from the orchards.

Kids Area

The magical play area is great fun for both children and adults alike with plenty of adventures to be had aboard the fishing boathouse.
